OHIO RIVER VALLEY MODEL COLLECTION

This is my first attempt at displaying models from another collector. This collection comes from an old friend of mine who not only collects models but also "fly's the real thing" and is a captain for a major airline here in the USA. The photos I am presenting here are all of Airliners but he collects models of Military & Private Aircraft as well. My friend, who prefers to remain anonomyous (as many collectors do), is what I call a "purist" in collecting which means that he collects only those models that are in their original condition & untouched with no restorations or refinishes. When I photographed his collection I didn't have any neutral background to use so in most of the photos I have either partially or fully eliminated the background so the model would be the center of attention. With that in mind I hope you enjoy the photos of his beautiful collection - which is sorted by Airplane Manufacturer.
